Frequently Asked Questions

What Is a Cold Psychic Reading?

You may have heard the term "cold reading in psychic reading?" Do you know what it means?

The cold reading means that the psychic does not rely on prior experience with the customer. So don't worry whether you are starting out with a new psychic reader or have never done one before, there are psychics that are particularly attuned to providing cold readings.

The psychic does this by concentrating on the client's actions and attributes over a set of judgments that are solely based on inference.

What Is A Psychic Energy Reading?

What is a psychic energy reading is a common question we get asked and we're sure you have pondered that question yourself a few times.

The world of science quantifies energy in the unit of joules but psychic energy is a whole different world with a different set of rules (or lack thereof!)

Psychic energy is not something you can see but is a vital part of a successful psychic reading. Contrary to popular belief, a psychic does not dive into your mind and read your thoughts.

Instead, they lock on and track your energy/aura that radiates from you. This allows them to see what is missing, weakened or blocked due to restrictions or limitations.

What's The Difference Between Reading The Tarot and Reading The Psychic-Tarot?

A Tarot reading helps the psychic learn about their client through the help of special (you can call them magical if you wish) cards. These are known as Tarot Cards.

The main difference between reading the tarot and reading it with psychic abilities is that whilst anyone can do a Tarot reading with training into their meaning, a psychic can read meanings from that card that relate to the client receiving the meaning.

A Tarot reading will include a deck of 78 cards that cover the main aspects of human life and interaction. Everything from spiritual, mental, intellectual and physical facets are covered by the tarot card deck.

There are 56 cards that are further divided into suites. These suites are:

  • Cups
  • Wands
  • Swords
  • Pentacles

These cards support the major cards and help convey a message when used together. Readings from a psychic tarot card reader can reveal current, future and past predictions.

San Antonio, TX

San Antonio is a major city in south-central Texas with a rich colonial heritage. The Alamo, an 18th-century Spanish mission preserved as a museum, marks an infamous 1836 battle for Texan independence from Mexico. Following the San Antonio River, the miles-long River Walk is a landmark pedestrian promenade lined with cafes and shops. HemisFair Park’s 750-ft. Tower of the Americas overlooks the city.

More Information About San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, officially the City of San Antonio, is the seventh-most populous city in the United States, and the second-most populous city in both Texas and the Southern United States, with 1,547,253 residents in 2019. Established as a Spanish mission and colonial outpost in 1718, the city became the first chartered civil settlement in present-day Texas in 1731. This part of Mexico was once Spanish, and it was finally absorbed into the Mexican Republic. Yes, it is the oldest municipality in the state. It began celebrating its 300th anniversary on May 1, 2018.

The city's many historical sites are then contrasted with its rapid depopulation over the past few decades. It is the fourth largest city in the state, spanning five counties in the eastern part of the state. The city anchors the southeastern corner of an interlocking network of urban areas interconnected by highways (Interstate 10, 16, and 45), railroad tracks, and industrial corridors. These other areas include Austin, Georgetown, and New Braunfels. Texas has a very unique city that's split in half by Interstate 35. San Antonio is located in the south-central part of the state while Austin is located in the west-central part of the state. It is expected that both these metropolitan regions will create a second metroplex very close to Dallas and Fort Worth.

The city of San Antonio serves as the seat of Bexar County; San Antonio is the center of the San Antonio–New Braunfels metropolitan statistical area. Commonly named Greater San Antonio, the metropolitan area had a population of 2,550,960 based on the 2019 U.S. census figures, making it the 24th-largest metropolitan area in the United States and third-largest in Texas .

San Antonio was named by a 1691 Spanish expedition after the Portuguese priest Saint Anthony of Padua, whose feast day is June 13. The city includes five 18th-century Spanish frontier missions, including The Alamo and San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, which together were declared UNESCO World Heritage sites in 2015.Other notable attractions include the River Walk, the Tower of the Americas, SeaWorld, the Alamo Bowl, and Marriage Island. Commercial entertainment may be found at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Morgan's Wonderland amusement parks. According to the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau, the city is visited by around 32 million tourists a year. San Antonio has been with five NBA world championship titles (one more than any other city); the city serves as the host of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, the largest such event in the nation.

The U.S. Armed Forces have several facilities in and around San Antonio; Fort Sam Houston is the only one inside the city limits. Lackland Air Force Base, Randolph Air Force Base, Lackland AFB/Kelly Field Annex, Camp Bullis, and Camp Stanley are outside the area. The air force base does not host any other training facilities. Kelly Air Force Base operated out of San Antonio until 2001, when the airfield was moved to Lackland AFB. The remaining parts of the base were built as Port San Antonio, an industrial/business park and aerospace complex. San Antonio is home to four Fortune 500 companies and the South Texas Medical Center, the only medical research and treatment provider in the South Texas area.

Attractions In San Antonio, TX

The City of San Antonio is mainly known for... What about the Alamo? As in San Antonio, it is easy to slip into the false notions of the city when someone visits it; it is all too easy to not see all the sights to get to know the real San Antonio. Instead, think of San Antonio as a sausage: smooth and bland with no fillings (i.e.-meat), but with lots of colorful confetti (i.e.-garlic, peppers, salsa, cilantro, etc.) on the inside. You just need to know how to get through the outer shell, and you're set — which is why we've done the legwork and put together a rundown of all the best stuff the city has to offer, from off-the-beaten-path attractions and local events to popular bucket list places even locals need to try. So-far, here are everything you need to do in San Antonio, no matter your budget levels.

At the Yanaguana Garden in drink margaritas in the heat

This room provides an atmosphere in which to relax or fall into a state of calm. In addition, it also acts as a space within which all sorts of kids and adults can play. inside the garden there are two natural tucked away areas that are very close by, one acting as a coffee shop, and the other room is used to bar. So, you can usually find plenty of local food trucks close by and yes, you can still get a range of draft and bottled beers and margaritas at Con Safos.

Enjoy several cultural experiences at Art Pace

If contemporary art (and its creation) is interesting to you, then ArtPace is a great place to go. The museum is fairly unique, in that nine artists a year are invited to live and work here during the year in three four-month cycles; three of the artists are from Texas, three are from elsewhere in the United States, and three are from around the world. Artpace is free and open to the public, and they provide artists with a variety of different ways to gain further exposure. One of their more recent offerings included pairing with Austin Eastciders to host Cider Sessions. During this period, Gus Van Go, the cider maker, gave visitors the opportunity to talk with the artists about the process of cider making.

Spend the day spending a day at Confluence Park

The newly opened confluence park was once an industrial park from when it started, but in modern times, has been turned into a park that acts as a way to educate on solar and wind energy and energy conservation, and it is also a wonderful place to start for kayaking or biking along the river. The park is still in its infancy ever since it was established in 2009 year. However, it has become an ideal place to practice early morning yoga or take a picnic along the banks of the river.

People go to the farmers market at the Pearl at night

The farmer's market itself features a range of vendors of which some sell traditional grocery fare, some of which also serve brunch and lunch options, all is set amidst the picturesque community meeting area of the Pearl District. The Culinary Institute of America offers a dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and packed with locals and tourists alike, it's easy to while away your morning sipping on coffee from local, quality coffees (or something a little bit stronger from Southerleigh Brewery) while chomping down on a variety of food courtesy of the Culinary Institute of America, which has its third campus right there in the Pearl. If you visit the SXSW Convention Center, it is just several feet from either of the convention center complex. It is suggested to go to the "Mercado" or other food you eat off of a SXSW Convention Center because you can get a chair to sit at and order something to eat. You can also walk to downtown while getting a cold screw or sour candy from La Gloria.

Head to a museum and get tipsy at it

A children's museum, called The DoSeum, has a wide-array of interactive and playful areas, such as sports. It also includes a variety of things to do and learn from. One of the best aspects of the DoSeum, however, is that they offer “ReDo” evenings, which are 21+; all you have to do is buy a ticket and you'll get free drinks, appetizers, and full access to all the events at the museum.

Dance to the beat at Luna bar

Luna has been around since 2003, and provides live salsa, jazz, disco, soul, and any other music genre you can think of — depending on the night, of course. The club has a good cover charge, and sends out really nice and great drinks. The music is really high energy, and it's a club until 2 in the morning.

Get your lunch on the river walk

River walk restaurants.

There are a number of non-touristy eateries along the River Walk, but if you feel paralyzed by making so many choices, simply head to the historic Schilo's. It is a reliable landmark restaurant that has been serving lunch to San Antonians for almost 100 years now. If you're heading to the hometown of the delectable "German delicacy", make sure to arrive long before their timetable; the typical "German Goodness" is worth the wait.

Take a bike ride around San Antonio's Missions

The San Antonio Missions are a set of Spanish Missions that stretch the banks of the San Antonio River for several miles south of Downtown. The most prominent mission is, of course, the Alamo, but the other Missions that were established at the same time as the Alamo or a little later, are just as beautiful (and slightly less mobbed with tourists), so don't forget them. The best way to see all the artwork in the expo is by using a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft to make the drive to the furthest one (Mission Espada) and renting a bike at one of the kiosks. Once you've finished riding down Mission Reach Lane, you can ride the Mission Reach Trail and visit each Mission along the trail. There are B-bike kiosks along each mission, which is awesome because they provide you with a bike. And you can also use a B-bike app as an alternative if you feel like turning it on (as opposed to paying $3 to get your bike locked up). The corridor runs directly through the Blue Star Brewery complex, so after walking through the first few missions you can stop by for a cold beer (or margarita) and take a break and explore the historic King William neighborhood.

The San Antonio Parks Department

As it turns out, the Japanese Tea Garden originally used to be a rock quarry, but it's now a verdant public space that's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The garden has a few objects, each with a unique stone monument, on a good-sized parcel of land located in a tranquil, fashionably-featured area that contains a stone gate, pagoda, café, and many different kinds of flora and fauna. You can spend hours studying the fascinating history of the garden, or you can find it interesting enough to keep you going for hours, but if you're tired or hungry, the Jingu House Café has light lunch and tea (no alcohol, though). When you are in the tea garden, please make sure you pay a visit to the amphitheater open-air venue, as well as visit the garden to see local artists performing live.

Go to the San Antonio Botanical Garden to do some yoga

A 30 stanza garden, another 4 edge, 15 acre of lush local woodland, and a 30 stroke greenhouse, all within one formal and ornate complex makes up this spectacular 25 acre park. It also features a log cabin, extensive parks, bird watching areas, formal gardens, and a multitude of habitats. If you're in San Antonio and you'd like to go in the direction of the River Walk, try this garden not only to see a beautiful waterfall (to cool off), but also to go to yoga and tai-chi classes you can try to sign up online.

Take a look at the murals on I-35

When you are flying past, you can just notice little glimpses of some of the massive artworks across the lane, but stop and look up at them in depth and you will appreciate them. Much of the murals explore graffiti types that are somewhat different from most other graffiti. Each mural is made to be a representational piece influenced by the local community. We think this picture turned out nicely. While visiting an exhibit might not be free, its light and fun-attacking approach will leave you wanting to take a can of spray paint and make a mark of your own.

Walking in the footsteps of dinosaurs at Government Canyon State Natural Area is valuable

If you're under the influence of alcohol and need to work up a sweat (e.g. as a result of too much alcohol, perhaps), head for the hills: Government Canyon is a 12,000-acre national park and, surprisingly, has hundreds of preserved dinosaur tracks. It is possible to reach the historical areas along the train trails to hang out, but the trail is a little grueling, and about three hours long. In the summer months, it is really hot in the South Texas area so you can go to the museum early in the morning.

Check out the art in the eastern reach of the River Walk

The River Walk is an obvious staple of San Antonio, but what a lot of tourists (and locals, even) do not know is that there is more River Walk than what is showcased downtown. The River Walk is at the bottom end of the Pearl District on the east side of the river. You can walk along the River Walk, and arrive at some of the beautiful F.I.S.H. paintings in the Parramore Gardens under the Pearl District Bridges. It's best (and coolest, temperature-wise) to see them at sunset. When the night sky shines down on you, the bigger fish behave in a way that resembles a scene from "Jaws," and it's kind of like you're walking underwater. All along this section of the River Walk you can discover many museums as well. In addition, you won't need to use a thermos and can go to bars like the Comfort, and bring your beverage of choice. Getting people to walk can be quite a challenging challenge sometimes, but given the chance, they can be lazy and prefer to take the risk for a cheap price.

Look out for some stand-up comedy at Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club

With a combination of comedians you've never heard of, and ones who have been in "Saturday Night Live", FOX News, or a celebrity roast, Laugh Out Loud is a night out of laughs, nice drinks, and plenty of parking. The Comedy Club is open every night except Tuesday, and it is a nice place if you have already done all the other night out styles. If you are planning to take family, it is important to check precisely what type of comedy is being performed, as the type of comedy you are listening to will vary in various tastes and styles.

Come dirt off a little at time at the Blue Star Brewing Co. during Jazz Night

Every Tuesday at 8-10 pm, some of the best local Jazz musicians assemble to play big band pieces here at the House of Jazz. As a recommendation, you may want to spend the night in the New York area beginning around dinner time and go for dinner to one of the restaurants in the Blue Star Complex. Then you can head back to the New York area for some jazz; a nice night.

Go to the King William Paddle Trail and admire the beautiful homes

If you are the kind of person who drives really quickly through wealthy neighbourhoods and gawks at the mansions, this activity is for you. You can have such a flotation device as an ocean paddleboard by visiting SUP SATX and renting one from there. When your done, meet near the Blue Star Brewery and go for a long paddle through the ancient Oaks and elaborate Victorian houses of the historic King William Area. It is also popular for me to have a beer at Blue Star or go visit critical King William watering hole: The Pleasant Place.
